Quick Shots accesses the following information solely to provide its core screen capture and recording functionality:

• Screen and Tab Content: When you initiate a capture or recording, the extension accesses the selected browser tab, application window, or screen to create the media.
• Audio Input (Optional): If microphone audio is enabled, the extension accesses the device microphone only while recording is in progress.
• Camera Input (Optional): If webcam overlay is enabled, the extension accesses the device camera only while recording is in progress.
• Local Storage: Your preferences and extension configurations are stored locally inside the browser using standard Chrome Storage APIs.

How Is This Data Used?

The accessed data is used exclusively to:

• Capture screenshots requested by the user.
• Record screen videos requested by the user.
• Include microphone audio and webcam overlay when explicitly enabled.
• Save screenshots, recordings, and settings.
